Leesa Tori, Founder and Chief Advisor of Brightside Solutions, is uniquely positioned to help health plans of all sizes develop competitive products the market needs and wants. Brightside Solutions has helped major national health plans evaluate and redesign their product portfolios to be fully competitive.

Leesa founded The Tori Group consultancy in late 2012 by assembling a team of some of the nation’s top health policy experts. The consultancy was quickly tapped by Covered California to build a marketplace of health insurers and benefit plans to cover millions of uninsured Californians.

Prior to founding The Tori Group, Leesa was Vice President of Product Innovation at The Vitality Group, charged with paving the way for the firm to adapt its innovative incentive programs to the demands of the U.S. market.

Leesa served for 10 years in various roles at the Pacific Business Group on Health (PBGH), including as Senior Director of Strategy and Business Development. Her decade of work there includes six years as Vice President of Programs and Product Development at the PacAdvantage small business health care exchange.

Prior to that, Leesa served as Director of Strategy & Product Innovation, Specialty Benefits at Blue Shield of California.

Leesa earned her MPA in Public Administration from the Harvard University.

She specializes in risk management, product portfolio development and management, legal and regulatory compliance of health exchanges.
